International Volunteer Teaching Program
The International Volunteer Teaching Fellowship provides an opportunity for passionate individuals to support education in rural India while gaining meaningful international teaching experience.
This program connects global volunteers with schools and community initiatives supported by:

Volunteers will contribute to educational activities at:
Thomas Memorial English High School
Emmanuel Christian Public School
The program also includes tutoring support for children from disadvantaged backgrounds through after-school learning programs.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers will assist teachers and support students through:
CLASSROOM TEACHING ASSISTANCE
SPOKEN ENGLISH TRAINING
BASIC COMPUTER EDUCATION
SCIENCE LEARNING SUPPORT
CREATIVE ACTIVITIES
MENTORSHIP AND TUTORING
AFTER SCHOOL ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Volunteers work alongside school staff and are guided throughout the program.
Teaching Areas

- Spoken English
- Basic Science
- Computer Fundamentals
- Mathematics Support
- Art & Craft
- Moral Values & Life Skills
Typical Volunteer Schedule
Morning
School teaching sessions
Midday
Interaction with teachers and lesson preparation
Afternoon
Skill development activities or mentoring
Evening
Tutoring children from the children’s home
Volunteers may also participate in school events and cultural programs.

Eligibility Criteria
Volunteers should:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have basic English communication skills
- Have interest in teaching or mentoring
- Be willing to work with children
- Respect cultural values
